Today, Northern Illinois CPR and First Aid was proud to place our 11th donated AED back into the community, this time with United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rockford.

With AEDs costing around $2,000 each, we know how difficult it can be for churches, nonprofits, and community organizations to make this life-saving equipment a reality. That’s why our AED donation program has become such an important part of what we do.

For us, this isn’t about the number of AEDs donated or the dollars involved. It’s about making sure more people have access to an AED when seconds matter most.

We’re grateful to be in a position to give back to the communities that have supported Northern Illinois CPR and First Aid over the years, and we hope this AED is something United Lutheran Church never has to use — but if that day ever comes, it will be there and ready.

❤️ 11 AEDs donated — and hopefully many more to come.

We’re excited to give away one pre-owned Philips HeartStart FRx AED to a local business, church, nonprofit, or community location where it can be available to help the public in an emergency.

We recently acquired this AED and would love to put it back into service somewhere it can make a difference. ❤️

There are two ways to enter:

1️⃣ Comment below and tag or name the location where you think the AED should be donated.

2️⃣ Complete our nomination form:

⭐ Do BOTH and you’ll receive TWO entries into the drawing!

📅 Deadline: Friday, August 28 at 11:59 PM

After the deadline, we’ll randomly select a winning location and contact them with the next steps.

The winning organization/location must agree to accept ownership of the AED and sign an ownership/acceptance waiver.
