Sigma Nu at NIU

Congratulations to our Brother Aidan O’Brien for being selected as our new Campus Activities Board President! CAB is the largest student organization on campus which hosts multiple events throughout the semester. We look forward to seeing Aidan excel in his position next semester and we are proud of his successes beyond our chapter with CAB!

Year: Sophomore

Why you joined Sigma Nu: I joined Sigma Nu because I made instant friendships with lots of guys in the house. Being apart of Sigma Nu will help me achieve goals I set for myself and allow me to keep succeeding in all areas.

Snutober Fest will be this coming Tuesday, October 25th, come paint pumpkins and get hot chocolate with the gentlemen of Sigma Nu. All profits go to Hope Haven homeless shelter in DeKalb!

Shout out to the boys for beating Phi Kappa Psi in flag football by a score of 33-15 to win the Greek league championship!

Why you joined Sigma Nu: I joined Sigma Nu because when I came to NIU I didn’t have anyone that I knew around here and when I first came to the house everyone was friendly and I liked the vibe. I also wanted to be apart of something bigger and have a group of friends that push each other to the best that we can be!

Why you joined Sigma Nu: I joined sigma nu to meet new people and form relationships with a great group of guys as well as the community around us. I wanted to be a part of something great and better myself as a person, I knew Sigma Nu would help me to achieve that.

The gentlemen of Sigma Nu would like to recognize those who lost their lives in the devastating events of September 11th, 2001. Our hearts go out to all families and first responders effected on this day.

Tomorrow from 12-4pm make sure you come out and pie a a Brother of Sigma Nu at the MLK Commons! All of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Our guys had a busy morning cleaning up Greek Row at this year’s IFC Neighborhood Clean Up. This event had a huge impact on Greek Life revitalization, and an even bigger impact on the community.

Thank you to City Manager, Bill Nicklas, Chief of Dekalb PD, David Byrd, NIU Deputy Chief, Jason John, the NIU PD, and the Dekalb PD, for coming out and speaking at the event.
