DETAILS:
~ The current tuition rate is $260 / week
(I do not accept Care4Kids at this time)
~ We follow the Killingly Schools calendar
~ Holidays and Winter and Spring Breaks are paid time off
~ 5 Personal / Sick Days are paid as well
~ Summer care will be offered 2-3 days a week
Childcare will focus on LEARNING THROUGH PLAY! This means fostering early childhood learning objectives such as:
* Social-emotional learning-- self-awareness and regulation
>>> rapport-building, peer relationships, emotional-regulation, decision-making, problem-solving, and understanding yourself in relation to various people, places, scenarios, etc.
* Language development -- expressive and receptive
>>> books, songs, play, routines, directions, communication of wants and needs, etc.
* Fine and gross motor skills -- hand and body coordination
>>> art, sensory, music and movement activities, and cause-and-effect materials / experiences
* Cognition -- thinking and learning processes
>>> integrated during play (demonstrating, hand-over-hand, asking prompting questions, allowing productive-struggle, and allowing opportunities for creating, constructing, deconstructing and investigating, etc.
