Hello! Did you catch us at the Halloween Carnival on Sunday? The spooky science we demonstrated this year was slime and pumpkin/ghost balloons! If you missed us, or would like to recreate our activities, follow the instructions below! Tag us if you try them out!

Last Friday, STEM Outreach planned and participated in three outreach events that spanned over 13 hours! Our amazing volunteers ran activities at Hinson Middle School and the Boys and Girls Club, as well as during Astronomy Open House.

We had a great time volunteering during last Friday's Astronomy Open House!
We sold cotton candy, crafted wind socks, and showed off our Makey Makey kits! Many of the future STEM professionals who attended had an *electrifying* time playing the piano and space-related games using various fruits that were connected to the Makey Makey. We were also able to further demonstrate the "complete the circuit" concept by having a large circle of volunteers and attendees work together to play the piano!
