The first annual Polar Bear Book Swap summer reading bingo has started!
Students in Northridge Schools should have brought a bingo sheet home. If you don't have one, or have kids that attend other districts, you can find a downloadable bingo card on our website (under the June events).
Summer reading bingo is open to all local school age kids.
Below are just a few of the prizes available.

📚 Two new Little Free Libraries have arrived in Harrison Township!

Thanks to a partnership between Polar Bear Book Swap and our Services Department, residents can now enjoy free community book exchanges at both Sinclair Park and Shiloh Park.

These libraries are a simple way to share the joy of reading. Take a book, leave a book, or discover your next favorite story while visiting the park.

We're especially excited to help expand Polar Bear Book Swap's reach into the Shiloh community and create even more opportunities for neighbors to connect through reading.

Stop by, take a look, and help keep the shelves stocked for the next reader!

Yesterday, Polar Bear Book Swap had the opportunity to work on creating a space that is welcoming in the Ome Garden Neighborhood at the former firehouse. This was a collaboration with Montgomery County and made possible by a Keep Montgomery County Beautiful (KMCB) beautification grant. A huge thank you to Damon Youngker, owner of Nomad Gardening, who volunteered his time to lead this beautification project ;and a very special thank you to ALL WHO CAME  to assist him- we appreciate you and all of the hard work, dedication, and heart you brought to support the project!
The time and energy you put into beautifying the space has made such a difference.
This gives PBBS something meaningful for everyone to see and appreciate.

Polar Bear Book Swap is gearing up for Opening Day at Northridge Little League Baseball!!! We will have books available for all ages AND even found quite a few books about baseball! ⚾️⚾️⚾️
Come by our table and choose a few titles for some new reading adventures to dive into!
