Phase I of the Nursing Facilities Expansion project is officially underway! This summer, Wright State is adding 42 new beds for our students to train on, increasing the number of high-tech training mannequins, and updating the overall equipment collection in the nursing facility.
With Ohio projected to have 30,000 new health care positions within the next five years, and our immediate area seeing more than 1,000 RN positions open annually, this expansion, along with our partnership with Premier Health, will position our graduates to fill the increasing demand for nurses in our community.
