We really have some hard working and amazing interns in our program. Today we started back up at The Learning Tree farm with some weeding and planting. Our interns also visited the OEC department at Ludlow and picked up shredding to bring back and properly dispose of!! Watching the interns make progress in their transition skills is a blessing! Nothing holds them back or slows them down!

We started at two of our worksites this week: Dayton Dream Center and Wegerzyn Gardens. It is alway a great day when we get to see our business partners who just happen to be some of our biggest supporters! We couldn’t have Project Life without you!! 💜

Look at the beautiful butterflies visiting our gardens today! There was a Swallowtail and Monarch on our butterfly bushes today! 🦋🦋

We took a break from moving today to give our garden some love. The weeds were trying to take over!

You know the saying “It takes a village”? Mr. Wes is not only one of our favorite custodians, he is also part of our Project Life village. Here he is working with one of our interns. They were talking about how to respectfully disagree with a coworker.

We were so happy to have our interns back today! We are blessed with some very hard workers! They jumped right in to help us move our things to our new spot. 😊

We went to check on the gardens and the chickens today. Summer and Autumn are doing great. I’m sorry I forgot to take a picture of them, but check out these garden gains!!

Our Transition Team just spent an amazing week in St. Louis at the annual Project Search conference. We have learned so much about how to help our interns be the best they can be. We can’t wait to start the year and implement what we have learned!

Today was the final day of our incredible Summer Program. We were blessed to visit Mission of Mary. Dan has come to visit us and we wanted to visit him. We are excited to collaborate with Dan and Mission of Mary more in this upcoming year. Enjoy July Interns!! We will see you in August!
