It is that time of year and they are out!
Ticks are common in natural areas, especially during the warmer months. So, as the weather warms up, we want to remind you:
• Stay on designated trails
• Wear light-colored clothing to make ticks easier to spot
• Use insect repellent if you plan to be in grassy or wooded areas
• Always check yourself, children and pets for ticks after your visits
Take these few simple precautions and be tick smart this season!
