VARSITY ANNOUNCEMENT
Practices this week are canceled as well as the Boone County fair fundraiser since we couldn’t get a bus. Practice July 10th we will be going over sidelines, dances, doing uniform fittings, and discussing banners and hair styles for each football game. Also a reminder that the parent player meeting is being moved to July 10th @ 6pm in the cafeteria. Please spread the word and we’ll see you after dead period.

Information for the end of June
1. The mandatory parent player meeting has been rescheduled from June 22nd to July 10th at 6pm in the cafeteria. If you cannot attend now due to vacation please get a copy of the contract next week and get it turned in before dead period.
2. Practice on Wednesday 6/24 will now be a uniform fitting so if we need more sizes we can get them ordered over dead period. If you are returning varsity and cannot attend you will be getting the same uniform back you had last year.
3. The Boone county fair is our next fundraiser and will be Wednesday 6/24. We need all hands on deck, so please show up if you can. We will be meeting at the school, Clay street side, at 3:15. This will be a long day, so please drink plenty of water the day before and day of.
4. Dead period is June 25th to July 9th. During this time there can be no communication between coaches, athletes, and parents. If you message a coach we cannot reply until after dead period.
5. Please refer to the Dayton app for information on shoes for the season.

Middle School shoes for the season

Middle schoolers can stick with their shoes from last season if they were on the team. This shoe is the rebel rally. If you have the shoes from last season and they are in good condition they are good to wear for this year.

VARSITY Shoes for the Season

Rebel Rise: These are the shoes we had last season. If you like them you can keep these or go with the other shoe option, flyers are required to have this shoe for stability and building purposes. New flyers, if a girl from last year would like to give you their shoes you are more than welcome to use those instead of buying a new pair. We can also try and contact seniors from last year to see if they would like to donate their shoes.

Sorry for the change of plans, but the mandatory parent player meeting is being changed to July 10th at 6 pm in the cafeteria.

Also a reminder that we will be parking cars at the Boone County Fair June 24th as a fundraiser. Athletes will need to report to the high school on the clay street side by 3:15 pm so the bus can pick us up and take us there.

Our first car wash of the summer is tomorrow at the Bellevue Vets from, 10-3. Please make an effort to be there and spread the word to others! See you then!

In our first 3 practices of the season, we have completed all of our sidelines! Videos for each sideline are in a folder under the 'materials' tab on the Dayton Independent Schools app. Please refer to these if you are having trouble as we will be going over every cheer on Monday. See you then!
