Hello,
I'm the clearance coordinator on "FBI" - for the episode we're currently working on. We'll be building either a forensics or a ballistics lab, and we thought a few Precision Forensic Testing posters would make good set dressing for either one of these.
Please let me know what other questions I can answer. If you're interested, I can send over our clearance agreement for you to review.
Thank you,

It's not too late to sign up for the only two 2020 classes: Feb 12-14, 2020 and April 15-17, 2020
New topics to the class include laser cut firearm parts and samples and we will make a Form 1 suppressor from a commercially available solvent trap.

I am excited to announce that the book I have been working on for the last 2.5 years is almost done. Countless hours of work and research is finishing up as I am in the final editing stages of my nook, Forensic Firearm Examination to be published by Elsevier in a few months. I have had tremendous support from my associates in the field, friends and family.
I am looking forward to the final product and hope that it will help advance our science and the efforts of those involved in the justice system.

Precision Forensic Testing is ramping up to offer an on-site version of the "Machining for the Firearm Examiner" class. Without giving too much away prior to the official announcement, I can just say that it will cover ALL aspects of machining, including hands on operation of the machines used to manufacture fi****ms.
Additionally, there will be 6 comparison scopes on-site for the lab exercises. While it is great to have modern scopes with all the gadgets, my favorite scope is scope #7, a 1932 Spencer comparison microscope.
