When Home Economics class meets filling a community need!!

A huge THANK YOU to our Davisboro community for supporting our students as they put their learning and skills to work!

Each Tuesday, our Home Economics students prepare a fresh, hot meal in class and then take what they’ve learned a step further through Business & Community Service.

What may look like a simple lunch pop-up is actually giving our students the opportunity to practice home economics, money management, teamwork, customer service, and responsibility — all while meeting a need in our community.

We're especially grateful to be able to provide a nice, hot midday meal for the hardworking men and women building the new prison, as well as our community members and homemakers.

We are so grateful for every person who has stopped by, purchased a meal, encouraged our students, or simply cheered them on. Your support means more than you know!

And we're making it a Tuesday tradition!

We'll be set up at the Davisboro Dollar General every Tuesday at 11:30 AM.

Come grab lunch, support our students, and say hello. We'd love to see you Tuesday!!

You know what tomorrow is… DOUGHNUT DAY!!

We’ll be selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts tomorrow starting at 9 AM in Louisville, Sandersville, and Wrightsville!

Stop by and grab a fresh dozen for your morning coffee, take some to the office, or treat the family. And if you’re looking for an easy way to support our students, this is it!

Every doughnut sale helps support CCBD initiatives, including field trips, community outreach, and educational programs. But it’s about more than raising money. Through our fundraisers, our students are learning real-life skills—marketing, selling, customer service, initiative, responsibility, and grit. These are skills they’ll carry with them long after the doughnuts are gone!

Thank you, as always, for showing up for our students and supporting what we’re building together. We truly appreciate every purchase, every share, and every word of encouragement.

Come see us tomorrow at 9 AM! And don’t worry if you miss this one—we’ll have more Doughnut Days throughout the fall!

Louisville: 4-Way Stop
Sandersville: Farmer’s Furniture
Wrightsville: Side Track

$9 Original Glazed | $11 Chocolate Iced

Thank you for supporting CCBD!

Just like that… summer is fading and we’re welcoming a new school year!

We’re excited to welcome back our Classical Conversations families and say a big WELCOME to the new families joining us this year!

This CCBD community is about so much more than gathering twice a week. It’s friendships, learning together, encouraging one another, making memories, and giving our kids a place to grow alongside other families on the same journey.

We have so much planned for this year! From community days and field trips to special events and, of course, our FUNraisers, there’s plenty to look forward to!

Follow along with us this year as we share the adventures, the memories, the learning, and all the moments in between.
