Hello Davis and wider Yolo County Latin community. Regarding the status of Salsa Adiccion of UC Davis, I wanted to confirm that the club is currently inactive for the 2014 - 2015 school year. There have been issues regarding club officer retention and as such the club cannot continue without the minimum of five active officers. If any of you are interested in a leadership position, to perhaps revive the club for next year feel free to respond to this post or send in inquiries.

What does everyone think of having a little fun every Wednesday from 12-2 at the silo? Salsa Adiccion will provide the music. We just need you!

Hello salseros. In light of the recent passing of Karina A. Ochoa, a member of the Latin dance community whom you may or may not have personally known, we encourage you all to attend Latin Night at the Grad tonight offer donations for her funeral arrangements.

Apologies for the lack of intel, salseros! There will be no lesson tonight. Meetings have been suspended until further notice. Updates will be made as information becomes available. Keep this in mind if you have any questions regarding the status of the club and its projects.

Jan 13, 2014: Phi Delta Theta invited Salsa Adicción to their house for the first day of rush week events. The taco bar spread prepared by the brothers provided well-needed fuel for the activities planned by Salsa Adicción. Although the brothers entered the event unknowing of the origins of salsa, they left with knowledge of the basic steps, rhythm, and sounds of the music. All in all a fun and exciting night!

Friday's Dominican Bachata and Musicality lesson has been cancelled. Be on the look out for other updates. Event pages will be made and distributed once regular meetings are reestablished.
