Daphne Women's Study Club

The rain did not stop the beautiful Ladies of the Daphne women’s study club from going on their February field trip to the Perdido Winery near Atmore Alabama on Tuesday-
The wines and vinegars were delicious and the great lunch we shared at Gathers Restaurant made the day seem sunny!!
We gained Donna Dodson as a new member and elected a capable slate of officers to serve our club next year ❤️❤️
It was a very good day!

The January meeting if the Daphne Study Club was a program of Celtic music by the Irish Fiddlers! It was an interesting and informative program of the history of Celtic music and was definitely a “toe tapper” that the club members really enjoyed! Peggy Deese hosted♥️

The December meeting of the Daphne study club was our annual Christmas concert! Our very own Becky Stevens once again presented an outstanding array of Christmas selections that helped put us all on the Christmas spirit! We are so lucky to have her talent to enjoy every year!

Daphne woman’s study club held its November meeting In the conference room at the Daphne city library. The guest speaker was Brenda Anderson a local Potter. The club enjoyed her presentation and the display of her pottery.

Daphne Women’s Study Club met for their February meeting in the conference room of the Daphne Public Library—-Local artist and retired teacher Marilyn Ammons was our guest speaker .
She gave us a hands on experience in acrylic painting. Our members produced some beautiful paintings within the span an hour❤️

DWSC met on January 9 at the home of Rebecca Canale. Dr. Aaron “Bill” Williams, Meteorologist and assistant professor at the University of South Alabama was our speaker for the month. He gave an interesting lecture on hurricane formation.

The December Meeting of the DWSC Study Club was A BEAUTIFUL program of Christmas music. Once again our own Rebecca Stevens produced an amazing selection of music and song to warm our hearts and put us into the spirit of Christmas..
This year we were honored to have our personal guests as well the members of the Wisteria Garden Club and the Montrose Study and Garden Clubs!
