Today was our first club day! They loved getting to tell their classmates all about the cool things they got to do in their clubs! 😎

In today’s science lesson, students considered what would happen if their body didn’t have bones. In the activity, Skeleton Hand, students combined science with art: they traced their hands, then added see-through bones to their picture, making their own skeleton hand. They look so cool hanging in our windows! 💀🩻

We started our first chapter book today! 🤖

Students use their math toolboxes to work through addition and subtraction problems using different strategies.

Today we read one of my favorites, The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors and then kids got to play some friendly games with their classmates. 🪨 📄 ✂️

Today we made our first set of math facts flash cards and challenged our partner with timers. This quarter we are expected to master 0-3 addition facts.
