Bridget is learning to carry a rider who may not know everything about horses or whose body is not fully capable of mounting and riding smoothly. patience and lots of whoas to catch the rider if they start to fall!

Nina did so well I rode her and took the pictures again!!!! handed off the camera for Deona to take some while on Bridget. I finished the ride with feet out of stirrups and reins dangling down. SO dependable. Nina is truly a gem of a horse

Bridget had her first trail ride and it went GREAT!!! benches, trees, two hiking groups with loose dogs. bridges and crossing deep streams!!!! she lead the group on over half the ride. BRAVE

Nina did great also. She is in the first picture and then she is SO STEADY I carried the camera and took pictures while riding her.

Bridget on her first ride out of the arena and down the road! She did fantastic. Wind, rain, dogs running along with us! SUCH A GOOD GIRL!!!!!

Nina has chosen her new bridle. She has decided she likes a Myler comfort mouth snaffle with a caveson better than other bits. Some girls just know what they like!

you can see how bonded they are. the whole herd is on the right and they stick together off to the left of the herd. so comfortable with one another!
