Averett Counseling: The mission is to assist students in achieving their personal and academic goals through the provision of individual and group counseling services. Services are
confidential, enabling students to find resources, solve problems, and make behavioral changes as desired. Students are treated with respect and concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Averett Health: The RN works in collaboration with a local physician who oversees clinic operations. He or one of the practice providers is able to see our students in his office if necessary. This helps avoid the need for urgent care or visits to the local Emergency Room (ER). At this time our Health Services Clinic functions as a walk-in clinic, no appointments are needed for our students.
