With August coming to an end I was looking back at some memories and wanted to thank our friends at Pilger Ruh Brewing for everything over the years from sponsorships to 🍺 🍷 and wish them a happy, healthy, and wealthy future.

We want to solemnly express our sincere condolences to the Moucheron family as the Red Zone was a supporter of our previously discontinued yearly basketball tournaments and Mr. Moucheron personally knew/did business with my father years ago via the food industry.

Thank you for your kindness to our organization over the years and we are sending The Redzone +The Moucheron family the upmost support of strength in this difficult time. 💪🏻

Our prayers are with your family 🙏.

Both of these ladies were kind enough to devote their time to being referees for our yearly tournament (along with a long list of others).

Careen helped during 2020 (The Covid year and our longest tournament on date and refused to take pay) and Jess helped multiple years and refused to take pay. What a class act and a great example of good human beings. 💯

I just want to thank you ladies again for volunteering your time for not only us but for everyone that played in those tournaments. I apologize at times the players really got nasty towards the last few years and you really had thick skin to not let it rattle you.

Those ladies could ref anything from an outdoor street ball event with 100s of spectators and a DJ on asphalt crammed in a park or in front of 10,000 people packed in bleachers at Martz Hall. 🏀

Thank you so much for how wonderful you were to us throughout the years. We are really happy you could get the recognition you deserve.
