Amy Barnes - HEART-Based Leader Founder of ELEVEN-B 👊🏻
Business Mentor ✳️ Confidence Builder & People Developer ✳️ Heart-Based Leader 🤍

I've had opportunities to lead and build teams to help companies succeed and people to grow stronger. I have learned how to lead through big changes and how to build people up by leading with my heart. Now I use those skills to help individuals & small businesses win; to solve problems and gain confidence as we work toward results. I'm passionate about mentorship - a gap for me early in my career

that I'd like to ensure isn't a gap for others. This is one of the biggest drivers behind my desire to help young & emerging professionals. Even though I continued to climb the "ladder", I never had anyone that showed me the way; someone who offered a hand to guide or helped me to build myself up when I was down. So I developed a passion for those who experienced the same along their journey. I believe everyone can Be Extraordinary; but I think a lot of people get overlooked or lack prioritization from their leader, so I appreciate standing in the gap for folks who need it. Recognized in Sept 2020 AND Sept 2022 by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a recipient of the Women in Supply Chain Award which is weighted heavily on mentorship of others in the industry and results that began in my heart. Have been told I care too much for others - and I'm totally cool with that 😉

Happy mid-week friends!

I talk a lot about recognizing when your season shifts, and it was huge for me over the past few years to recognize and adjust to doing different things.

The balance of this year, I'll be more focused on helping my husband in Stokes Dirt Works and playing in some dirt myself.

I'm wrapping up a leadership engagement now, and then gonna work on my equipment driving game for a while.

If you haven't supported the Stokes Dirt Works page yet, will you go ahead and do that now? :) Gonna be working on that too.

Thanks for the ongoing support!

All set up and ready for 60 folks in Asset Protection this morning!

Today we are talking about Personal Leadership Commitments and why it's important.

Are you able to clearly explain your approach to leadership?

This group will be able to do that after today.

Happy Wednesday friends! 😊❤️

Grateful isn't a strong enough word. I prayed for this season - grounded in what matters most. Happy Sunday friends! ❤️

In transit to Phoenix for my last scheduled workshop of the year and excited to get out of my comfort zone a bit with this one.

I don't know anyone at this conference - a first for me.

And I'm ready for it!

60 women have signed up for this workshop about developing their own Personal Leadership Commitments, and I remain grateful to do this type of work.

After this event, I'm slowing down a bit in my business to help my husband more in his business and to spend more time with my family.

Thanks to all who continue to encourage me - encouragers need encouragement too.

The sound of communication is a beautiful thing. Flashing back a few weeks to the scenario discussions we did with some leaders.

Getting out of our comfort zones to listen and learn is necessary in building ourselves stronger.

Are you too comfortable?

When I realized I was in a job where I didn't feel welcome, it sucked.

But I also wasn't willing to share my talents fully in an environment that thrived on blatant favoritism and a culture that "mined for conflict" even though it wasn't actually welcomed - unless a senior leader was driving it.

So I quit that job - because being where I didn't belong was a spot I wasn't going to stay in.

Consider your own situation.

Sometimes the hard changes are exactly what we need, even when they don't always make sense.

Happy Friday friends.
