DAMON, Texas — Damon Independent School District is proud to announce that it has been selected to participate in the Rapid Instructional Systems Enhancement (RISE)
program through Region 4 Education Service Center. This highly competitive opportunity will provide Damon ISD with an estimated $350,000 in instructional support and professional learning services at no cost to the district. The Damon ISD Board approved the partnership at the July 16, 2026 meeting. Some of the instructional supports are listed below:
● High-quality professional development for teachers and campus leaders
● Leadership coaching focused on strengthening instructional practices
● Support for Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and collaborative planning
● Classroom coaching, instructional modeling, and feedback
● Assistance with implementing high-quality instructional materials and research-based teaching strategies
● Data analysis and continuous improvement processes designed to improve student achievement
