Dragonfly Community Arts was proud to team up with the Pal Center on this amazing mural project. Muralist Jose Castro anonymousrecipes LLC spent part of the summer working with the kids at the PAL Center to develop ideas for the mural and to bring it all to life. The mural also commemorates the PAL Center’s 30th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who came together to make this happen!

Another great arte en comunidad workshop hosted and facilitated by Madrone Arts. Attendees made bird and butterfly mobiles in acrylic and watercolor inspired by Madrone’s upcoming gallery show “volar.”

It’s been an incredible summer so far for Dragonfly Community Arts!

Through our amazing partnerships with Art Bias we continued our support of 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. and HIP Housing. We also offered an improv and art class with Terry Ellen Sand.

Madrone Arts is continuing its weekly art workshops, including a new free family art day.

We also teamed up with the The Riekes Center to fund a new photography class for Veterans.

Thanks to all our partners for helping us accomplish our goal of bringing more free art workshops to communities throughout San Mateo County!

We love our One Step Beyond workshops with Art Bias! Dragonfly is thrilled to continue funding these weekly art classes with the wonderful folks at .

For the month of April, artist Amber Smith showed OSB participants how to create ceramic owls, which were fired in a kiln and then painted and decorated. Amazing pieces made by an amazing group!
