It was an honour to be invited by fellow HTA member Dr, Jose Borkert from Chile to attend the first Chilean conference on lameness in cattle. It was a three day event. We had research for 62 people in attendance including veterinary students,
veterinarians and hoof trimmers. We did wet labs,  shared ideas, and enjoy great company and food. It was a privilege to present the HTA toolbox and discuss how we were building our trade. Cheers.

The HTA extends condolences to the family of Harold Boyce. The family indicated that memorial donations may be made to the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation or the Trimmers Assistance Program. The Trimmers Assistance Program supports members of the Hoof Trimmers Association who find themselves facing unexpected challenges due to injury or illness. https://www.trimmersassistance.org/contribute/

Arrived yesterday in Valdivia, Chile to speak at their first lameness Conference. Our organizer and fellow HTA member Dr José Borkert.

I have been asked to do a presentation on our HTA Toolbox for our members,

my work on using financial infornation on foot health to improve cattle foot health and;

a workshop on foot trimming using Kansas and White Line Atlas methods.

This is what HTA is famous for we reach out and we help people balance their minds and expand their horizons.

Help us determine what programs will most benefit members fo the Hoof Trimmers Association. This is open to members and non-members. We are only gauging interest from trimmers in the U.S. at this time. When we have a plan in place, we will determine which benefits can be extended to our international members.
