Hey NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration … no need to start recruiting for the next mission just yet. Rainwater elementary school may already have your next astronaut ready for liftoff 🚀

Today, one student showed up fully suited for the job, and truthfully, he wasn’t the only one dreaming big. Throughout the day, 200+ students stepped into the world of aerospace, explored new careers, and got hands on with what the future could look like.

Behind every flight simulator, hands on activity, and career station is a student imagining themselves there for the very first time. Not just learning about aerospace… but starting to believe they could actually be part of it someday.

Moments like this are exactly why Aero Explorer exists. Sometimes all it takes is one experience, one conversation, or one spark for a student to start believing they can do something incredible.✨

This past week, Aero Explorer headed west to Santo, Texas, where students from two rural districts came together for a day of hands-on learning, exploration, and opportunity. Through our program, students from Santo and Lipan experienced the exciting world of aerospace, discovered career paths they may have never considered, and saw that their future can reach far beyond what they imagined! ✨

When students are given access, exposure, and encouragement, incredible things happen. We hope every student left feeling curious, empowered, and confident that there is a place for them in the future of aerospace.✈️

Did you know that in the next 10 years, over 1.5 million new aviation workers will be needed to fill roles across the aerospace industry? ✈️

And it’s not just pilots, we’re talking air traffic controllers, graphic designers, mechanics, logistics engineers, and so much more.

At Aero Explorer, our mission is to expose young minds to the possibilities of their future in aviation. Through one of a kind, hands on learning experiences, students get to be in the driver’s seat (both metaphorically and physically) of these exciting careers.

Because in the next 5–10 years, they won’t just be learning about aviation… they could be leading it. 🚀
