We love Ms. Teresa so very much! She is dedicated to our campus by keeping it clean, smelling fresh, and safe for all students. Today she was named Shields Auxiliary Staff Member of the Year for the hours and heart she pours into our campus whether it is keeping the flowerbeds fresh, cleaning trash off the playground, or going above and beyond down the halls! 👏✨

What a joy it was to honor Mrs. Ashley Lynn as our Shields Support Staff member of the year!

As our ARD Facilitator, she supports students, parents, staff, and the district with detailed notes, systems, scheduling, and knowledge. She is a huge asset to our campus, thank you! 🎉

To know Mrs. Burkhalter is to love her, which is exactly why she was named the campus Donald T. Shields Heart of a Champion award recipient!

Mrs. Burkhalter is generous, kind, funny, nurturing, and pushes through any obstacle to love on her students and build them up. We appreciate you! ❤️❤️❤️

We had the honor of naming our art teacher, Ms. Morris, as the Shields Rookie of the Year!

Ms. Morris has embraced her new role and been an outstanding member of the Shields team. Her creativity, kind heart, great ideas, and intentional differentiation has reached shields students across the campus! 🎨❤️

Congratulations to Mrs. Diaz for being named the district paraprofessional of the year! Mrs. Diaz is a steady calm, always ready to help support our students and staff. Thank you for everything you do! ❤️
