Calm Classrooms Start with Confident Teachers. We train the coaches and leaders who develop teachers.

Together, we create the conditions where challenging behaviors decrease and children thrive.

If you want to change behavior, change the relationship.

Behavior shifts when connection is strong.

When children feel safe, seen, and supported, they respond differently.

You can correct all day long, but without connection, nothing sticks.

That is the foundation of everything we teach inside the Behavior Coaching Academy.
We equip you to coach your teachers to build strong relationships first, so behavior improves, classrooms feel calmer, and real change actually lasts.

Before you co-regulate, you have to self-regulate.

If you’re dysregulated, kids can’t borrow your calm.

If we want calm classrooms, we need to build in ways for everyone—adults and children—to regulate.

Comment “REGULATE,” and I’ll send you my free guide: 10 Co-Regulation Tips to Help Young Children Master Self-Regulation.

The more you connect, the less you correct.

There’s no magic bullet for challenging behaviors. No quick fix. No one-size-fits-all strategy.

But there is one thing that works, every single time: Connection.

Connection before compliance.
Connection before curriculum.
Connection before correction.

Because when kids feel seen, safe, and understood, their stress goes down, their behavior shifts, and real learning can happen.

That’s where the magic happens.

P.S. Comment "CONNECT" and I'll send you my guide: 10 Ways to Connect before You Correct!!

Challenging behaviors are communication.

There’s a direct link between stress, sensory needs, and challenging behaviors. When children act out, it’s not random.

Their brains aren’t engaged. Their hearts aren’t filled. So they communicate the only way they know how: through their behavior.

If we want the behavior to change, we must change how we see it.

All behavior is a form of communication.

Until we stop seeing behavior as something to "fix" and start seeing the need behind it, nothing will ever change.

And that is exactly what we do inside the Behavior Coaching Academy.

We equip you to coach your teachers to understand what behavior is really saying, respond in ways that reduce stress and meet needs, and create classrooms where children are calm, connected, and ready to learn.

Children are smart.

They change their behavior based on who they’re with.

They know exactly who they can push, who will engage, and who’s checked out.

If you’re trying to use the same approach with every child, it’s not going to work.

They’re showing you what they need, but you’ve got to be willing to adjust.

It starts with mindset and how you show up in the room.

And that is exactly what we build inside the Behavior Coaching Academy.

We equip you to coach your teachers to recognize what behavior is communicating, adjust their approach in real time, and lead classrooms with consistency, confidence, and clarity.

Children usually are not trying to make your day harder.

They are trying to tell you something they do not yet have the words for.

When we shift from frustration to trying to understand their behavior, you'll see a change.

Less power struggles. More connection. Real solutions.

That shift is exactly what we build inside the Behavior Coaching Academy.

We equip you to coach your teachers to see behavior differently, respond with confidence, and create classrooms that feel calm and manageable again.

We’re missing the bridge in early childhood.

On one island, we have language development. On the other, we have cognitive skills like curriculum, milestones, academics.

But here’s the problem: they’re isolated. And what connects two islands? A bridge.

That bridge is where the real work of early childhood happens. Self-regulation. Problem-solving. Social-emotional skills.

Right now, kids can’t fully access language or learning because behaviors are getting in the way. And behaviors are getting in the way because kids don’t feel seen, heard, or understood.

Behavior is communication. When kids act out, they’re telling us the bridge isn’t there.

So instead of drilling skills, let’s focus on connection. Let’s build the bridge with our teachers and children.

Most leaders stay stuck in “me.”

"I have to fix it." "I have to figure it out." "If I don't, nobody will."

That is where burnout starts.

Shift to “we.”

"We can solve this." "What do you think?" "Let's come up with a plan together."

Now your team has ownership.

They feel included.

And they actually follow through.

Better for them, and better for you.

P.S. If this resonates with you -- this is a glimpse of the mindset shifts and tools I'll give you in our 2026-2027 Behavior Coaching Academy.

We start on July 23.
