Week 7 Update Today marks 7 weeks since Brian’s heart attack. He has been making improvements with the help of cardiac rehab. He’s walking every day in between sessions. We see the dietician on Tuesday to discuss nutrition going forward ...

Friends & family: Brian suffered a massive heart attack on 8/22 while moving Lauren into Austin College. He had a SIX bypass surgery on 8/23 in Sherman TX. He came home on 8/30. I’ve set up a caring bridge site to post updates on his journey to recovery. I still haven’t been able to reply to everyone’s texts and emails I have received. Please know we appreciate all the prayers, support and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed and Brian is too. Brian’s fellow trainers are organizing fundraisers and we have a gofundme page recently set up to help them with fundraising. Lauren and I are doing well but are very exhausted. Please pray for his healing and full recovery! It will be a very long journey.
