Let’s talk GOALS & CAUSES! Like we mentioned before, we are always trying to make PL Prep PTA at PL Prep at J.W. Ray Elementary/Middle School an even better place and that takes all of us working together to raise money. We are hoping to raise $12,000.00 for:
- School Programs including Creature Teacher, Theater/Musicals, Donuts with Grownups, Fall and Spring Dances, Family Picnic, Family Movie Night, Holiday Shop, 5th and 8th Grade graduation celebrations, and other activities.
- Teacher Appreciation. We want to give our teachers tokens of our appreciation as they work hard to give our students the best education possible. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, holiday gifts, Teacher Appreciation Week, and more.
- Last year we were fortunate to have raised enough money to finance several field trips that didn’t get DISD approval and also had Stemscapes added to the playground. We will continue to help with School Improvements.
We can’t do it without your support!

PL Prep PTA hosted the Creature Teacher today for an exciting hands-on learning experience. Students heard interesting fun facts about the animals and were able to pet the baby kangaroo, Jolly, as well as the boa constrictor, Calypso. Thank you The Creature Teacher !
