We are women business owners and female investors in the state of Texas and we believe in the power of women-led businesses to drive economic growth and create positive change in our communities. We are committed to supporting each other and creating a more equitable and inclusive ecosystem for all. We are the first statewide network and membership platform created to specifically address the barriers and challenges faced by women that start and build businesses in the state of Texas. Our network provides woman-owned businesses with access to customer discovery, networking, state navigation and funding opportunities fueled by our members and the Her Texas Fund.

We're counting down to Fork and Femme Day, when we invite people across Texas and beyond to show some serious love to women-owned businesses. Our goal? $250,000 spent with women-owned businesses, no matter the ZIP code.

We're one week away from Fork and Femme Day and the celebrations are already getting started across Texas!

This Thursday, October 15, Shelley Nadel, founder of Food & Finance and our official financial education partner, is opening her home in Houston for a special event, for A Recipe for Connection, which brings together some amazing women-owned businesses for an evening of art, Mahjong, good food and new connections.

And one of the female founders joining us is Anna Haller, founder of The Mahj Society!

Anna believes Mahjong is more than a game. It's a chance to connect, share some laughs and build lasting friendships. That passion inspired her to launch The Mahj Society in Fort Bend County, where she offers beginner lessons, themed events, leagues and private parties. Whether you're brand new or already know your way around the tiles, Anna makes learning fun.

This Thursday, she'll be bringing that same energy to A Recipe for Connection and we'd love for you to join us!

7 DAYS UNTIL FORK AND FEMME DAY! 💗

Did you know that for every $1 spent with a woman-owned business, an estimated $9 in economic impact goes back into our communities?

Now imagine what happens when we put all our dollars together.

Next Wednesday, October 21, we're bringing people across Texas and beyond together for one BIG day of spending with women-owned businesses.

Grab lunch. Book the service. Buy the gift. Hire the consultant. Finally try that business you've been following forever. However you spend, SPEND WITH HER.

This past spring, we counted more than $125,000 spent with women-owned businesses. This time? We're going for $250,000!

Here's the important part: Registration is FREE, but you must register and report your purchases for your dollars to count toward our $250K goal.

When people come together around a shared purpose, something incredibly powerful happens.

Dolores Huerta has spent her life showing us that change doesn't happen simply because we want things to be different. It happens when people organize, use their voices, combine their resources and take action.

And that's a reminder worth carrying into this week, this month and this year.

We often underestimate the power we already have. Our relationships. Our influence. Our dollars. The ability to bring people together and turn a simple idea into something much bigger than ourselves.

It's Fork and Femme Day, and we're on a mission to spend $250,000 with women-owned businesses!

Why? Because when women make money, amazing things happen. Businesses grow. Jobs are created. Families thrive. Communities get stronger.

You don't need a big budget to be part of something BIG.
