Fourth grade popped down to Austin real quick today.

All year our students have been studying the great state of Texas, so today was the culmination of fourth grade history.

They went down to Austin, and got a tour of the capitol building and the Bullock Texas State History Museum.

Experiencing learning outside of the classroom is important at TKA, and we are always striving for new ways to incorporate outside learning.

Our impact boys cheered on the Frisco RoughRiders yesterday. The Impact program reinforces more than just classroom learning… it’s also about building the leaders of tomorrow.

Our 1st grade through 6th grade athletes competed in a multi-school track competition over the weekend, and they absolutely crushed it.

Events ranged from short sprints all the way to the long jump. TKA showed outstanding speed, strength and determination. 🏃‍♂️🥇🏆

Kindergarten finished up a unit studying butterflies, so naturally they traveled far and wide (Texas Discovery Garden) to see these beautiful creatures they had learned about in action.

The lesson included a butterfly diagram of the insects life cycle and a walk through the beautiful butterfly house.

Sky Ranch has been welcoming TKA for years now; and each weekend retreat is filled with learning and growing together in our faith, as a family unit and a school family.

We had a blast every minute of the trip getting to spend quality time together and enjoying all that Sky Ranch has to offer.

Hands on learning and growing looks like a lot of things at TKA, and helping out the local community is just the start. The boys are learning what the fruit of hard labor and discipline can yield.
