🎣 THSBA Regular Season Tournament Information 🎣
Ready for another great season? Here are some of the key things every team should know before fishing a THSBA Regular Season event.
📝 Registration
• Register online or through the THSBA App.
• Standard registration closes 11:59 PM on the Sunday (6 days) before each tournament.
• Late registration is accepted until 11:59 PM on Thursday (2 days) before the event.
• All late registrations are subject to a $20 per team late fee.
💵 Entry Fee
• $85 per team (cash or check).
• Maximum of two student anglers per team.
• Solo angler teams are permitted and pay the same $85 entry fee.
🚫 Important Policies
• No rollovers. If your team registers but does not compete, the entry fee is forfeited.
• Tournament buy-ins are not permitted. Teams cannot receive Angler of the Year points without competing.
• Teams that change, add, or remove a partner will be declared a new team, and all Angler of the Year points earned will remain with that new team.
🚤 Off-Limits
• Competitors must be off the tournament lake by 6:00 PM on the Friday before tournament day.
🏆 Angler of the Year Points
• 1st Place: 500 points
• 2nd Place: 499 points
• 3rd Place: 498 points
• Each finishing position thereafter decreases by one point.
📋 Participation Points
• Teams that do not weigh fish but properly return their wristbands will receive 25 points fewer than the last team that weighs in a fish.
📖 Know the Rules
• These are just a few of the Regular Season rules. Every angler and captain is responsible for knowing and following the complete THSBA Rules.
• By signing the Release of Liability through the THSBA App, all anglers, captains, parents, and guardians acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to follow all THSBA Rules and policies.
📅 Looking Ahead
The 2026-2027 THSBA Rules will be posted before registration opens on August 1. We encourage all anglers, captains, and parents to review the updated rulebook before registering and competing this season.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the water for another great THSBA season! 🎣
