Week 7 - The Night Before the Crossing
This week’s theme: Courage
The camp goes quieter than Caleb has ever heard a place be — and he learns courage was never about steady hands:
⚔️ Caleb — sits with his fear the night before he’s due to cross into battle for the first time
🎖️ Corporal Pike — tells him plainly: “Courage is loading the musket while your hands shake.”
🕊️ Sal — shares what her dying brother told her about fear, then holds Caleb’s wrist because she can’t finish her sentence
😂 Eli — polishes his musket in silence, for once with nothing funny to say
Every Tuesday we drop the next chapter of their story. Every Thursday we bring you the trail workout that goes with it — because discipline in the story and discipline on the trail are the same muscle.
Be sure to come back next week for Week 8, when the boats hit the water at dawn, Caleb’s hands stop shaking, and the first day of his real war begins.
Stay disciplined. Work hard. And be free.
