H. Grady Spruce High School JROTC Program

This free event is open to athletes and students of all experience levels and is designed to help young leaders develop confidence, teamwork, discipline, and mental resilience through hands-on activities and mentorship from Air Force professionals.

Students will participate in:

• Functional team workouts
• Leadership development exercises
• Communication and accountability training
• Team-building challenges
• Mental toughness coaching

We will also have Air Force Special Warfare members and other professionals speaking about their careers, leadership experiences, and the importance of teamwork in high-performance environments. Food and drinks will be provided for all attendees. We believe this is a great opportunity for students to:

• Build leadership skills on and off the field
• Strengthen communication and teamwork abilities
• Learn how to lead under pressure
• Gain mentorship from military professionals
• Challenge themselves in a positive and motivating environment

Este evento gratuito está abierto a atletas y estudiantes de todos los niveles de experiencia, y está diseñado para ayudar a los jóvenes líderes a desarrollar confianza, trabajo en equipo, disciplina y resiliencia mental a través de actividades prácticas y mentoría de profesionales de la Fuerza Aérea.

Los estudiantes participarán en:

• Entrenamientos funcionales en equipo
• Ejercicios de desarrollo de liderazgo
• Capacitación en comunicación y responsabilidad
• Retos de construcción de equipo
• Coaching de fortaleza mental

También tendremos miembros de las Fuerzas Especiales de la Fuerza Aérea y otros profesionales que hablarán sobre sus carreras, experiencias de liderazgo y la importancia del trabajo en equipo en entornos de alto rendimiento. Se proporcionarán alimentos y bebidas para todos los asistentes. Creemos que esta es una gran oportunidad para que los estudiantes:

• Desarrollen habilidades de liderazgo dentro y fuera del campo
• Fortalezcan sus habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo
• Aprendan a liderar bajo presión
• Reciban mentoría de profesionales militares
• Se desafíen a sí mismos en un ambiente positivo y motivador

The summit is scheduled to happen on 7 March 2026 at Pinkston but registration is needed. The informational summit is open to grades: 8-12th.

Good afternoon Timberwolves Parents,
Your child has an opportunity to participate in the ASVAB on the 5th of March. The ASVAB is an aptitude test that assist them in joining the military. In order for your child to participate in this test, they will need to sign-up via their Google Classroom on the ASVAB sign-up form. By taking the ASVAB, it does not obligate nor contract your child to join the military, but it does assist as it is part of the process to join. If they have any questions, please have them go to a JROTC instructor for further assistance.

Disclaimer: Although the ASVAB is NOT mandatory it is highly encouraged.

Buenas tardes, padres de los Timberwolves. Su hijo/a tiene la oportunidad de participar en el ASVAB el 5 de Marzo. El ASVAB es un examen de aptitud que les ayuda a unirse a las fuerzas armadas. Para que su hijo/a participe en esta prueba, deberá inscribirse a través de su Google Classroom en el formulario de inscripción del ASVAB. Al realizar el ASVAB, no se obliga ni compromete a su hijo a unirse al ejército, pero sí ayuda, ya que forma parte del proceso para ingresar. Si tienen alguna pregunta, por favor que acudan a un instructor de JROTC para recibir más ayuda.
