2026 will reward leaders who understand this truth:
There is no single blueprint for effective leadership—only aligned leadership.
The leaders who will thrive this year are those who:
Lead from clarity, not reactivity
Choose focus over frenzy
Build cultures intentionally, not accidentally
Practice self-mastery before demanding performance from others
Strategy matters. Talent matters.
But consistency, emotional intelligence, and alignment between values and behavior will quietly separate sustainable leaders from burned-out ones.
In my work, I’ve seen it repeatedly: people and organizations flourish when leaders stop copying models and start leading from their own strengths, convictions, and capacity.
Here’s to a year of leadership that is steady, human, and uniquely effective.
Wishing you clarity and momentum in 2026.

This past weekend, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class held its annual retreat, launching a year-long leadership development program for emerging attorneys. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a facilitator for more than a decade, and it continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my work each year.
As I usually do, I spoke on CliftonStrengths and the importance of understanding our unique strengths—especially from a leadership perspective. When leaders know and leverage their strengths, they not only lead more authentically but also create space for others to thrive.
This year’s class was focused and I look forward to supporting their growth and impact in the months ahead.
Honored to play a small role in shaping the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

Grateful for the Opportunity to Do What I Love 🎙️👂
This week, I had the privilege of leading a workshop on 'Hearing beyond words: Elevate Your Listening Skills with an incredible team of professionals who are committed to deepening their communication skills and strengthening their culture from the inside out.
We explored the difference between hearing and truly listening.
We unpacked the subtle barriers that keep us from being present.
We practiced techniques that turn everyday conversations into opportunities for connection, clarity, and trust.
I’m especially thankful to Dena DeNooyer Stroh for the invitation — and even more so for the intentionality behind the request. In a world that often rewards talking over listening, it’s refreshing to partner with leaders who know that effective communication starts with empathy, curiosity, and the discipline to slow down and really connect with what is being expressed.
Whether you're in leadership, sales, recruiting, or client service — listening isn't just a soft skill. It's a power skill. And it's one worth sharpening regularly.

A big thank you to Nicole LeBoeuf for inviting me to deliver a session on Strengths and Assertive Communication!
It was an energizing experience to explore how understanding our innate strengths can help us show up with clarity, confidence, and authenticity in the way we communicate — especially in challenging conversations.
Together, we unpacked:
✅ How to lean into your natural talents to advocate for yourself
✅ The difference between aggressive, and assertive communication
✅ Practical ways to strengthen voice, presence, and boundaries in daily interactions
I’m always inspired by organizations that invest in the growth and self-awareness of their teams — and LeBoeuf law firm is doing just that.
Here’s to more workplaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to speak up with purpose.

Impostor Syndrome, while not a medical disorder, can be debilitating but it doesn't have to be.
I was honored to have addressed the esteemed members of the ECL, delving into the critical topic of Impostor Syndrome.
It was a privilege to share strategies and insights to overcome this common challenge.
Gratitude to ECL for the platform, and to all who participated in the enriching discussion.
