SMU GeoClub and AAPG

While we miss our usual in-person meetings, we do have some exciting remote events starting this week. The GSA annual meeting has been moved entirely online, making it easy to access for all students.

Starting this Thursday (Oct 26) the online conference will host thousands of lectures, research sessions, career sessions, and networking opportunities related to the Earth Sciences. The Geology Club will also host several “watch parties” for these events and we would be happy to have you join us through Zoom.

We strongly encourage any student interested in Earth Sciences to join the Geo Club for these sessions and to register for the GSA online conference. Registering for the conference will allow you to attend any of the presentations and explore your own career and research related interests at your own pace.

Hey everyone! There is a tutoring opportunity available for Oceanography (GEOL 1305). It is $20/hr and 1-2 times per week for the rest of the semester. Message me if you're interested and I can get you more info!
