📚✨ Delta Epsilon in Action for Read Across America! ✨📚
The Delta Epsilon Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. proudly participated in Read Across America through our dedicated RSVP Committee (Retired Sorors Volunteer Program).💙📖
Our incredible retired Sorors spent time reading, encouraging, and inspiring young minds at:
📍 Rosa Parks Millbrook and Amber Terrace Discovery Center
Through storytelling and shared moments, our RSVP Committee continues to demonstrate that service in education does not end at retirement — it simply evolves. We are so proud of the impact our Sorors continue to make in the lives of students and school communities.
Thank you to our RSVP Committee members for your commitment to literacy, mentorship, and excellence in education. 💙📚✨
The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Delta Epsilon Chapter proudly supports Heart Health Awareness.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for Black women in the United States. Black women are 60% more likely to experience high blood pressure and face significantly higher risks of stroke and obesity. Chronic stress, systemic health disparities, and the enduring “Strong Black Woman” trope all contribute to this ongoing crisis. Today, nearly 59% of Black women over the age of 20 are living with cardiovascular disease—making awareness, prevention, and advocacy more critical than ever.
