Texas schools received their 2026 accountability ratings, and YWPN schools continue to stand out. 🎓✨

Of our 11 eligible schools, 10 received an A rating, and 1 received a B rating. Across Texas, just 61% of schools earned an A or B. At YWPN, 100% did.

These results reflect the continued growth and progress across Young Women’s Preparatory Network and what’s possible when girls are given high expectations, strong academic support, and opportunities designed to help them succeed.

We’re incredibly proud of our students, educators, school leaders, and district partners who make these results possible every day.

🏆 We are thrilled and deeply honored to announce that Young Women’s Preparatory Network has been named the recipient of the 2026 NACAC Inclusion, Access, and Success Award! 🏆

This national recognition from the National Association for College Admission Counseling specifically honors our College Success Initiative: To and Through College Model.

This recognition is a reflection of the vision, dedication, and tireless work of our College Success Advisors, who champion postsecondary opportunities on every YWPN campus and guide our young women all the way to and through degree completion.

A special thank you to Jeremy Cortez, Executive Director of College Success, whose leadership has been instrumental in building and growing this program across all of our campuses.

A new school year is officially underway! 🎉📚

Across the Young Women’s Preparatory Network, our twelve campuses are back for the 2026–2027 school year, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

As our Network continues to grow, so does the opportunity for more young women across Texas to access a high-quality, all-girls college-preparatory education and the support they need to reach their goals.

We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, leadership, growth, and new possibilities. 💙💛

We’re so grateful to Kunthear Mam-Douglas and her son, Edward, for leading the YWPN School Supply Drive and bringing the community together to support sixth-grade students at Irma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School and Young Women's STEAM Academy at Balch Springs Middle School!

With the support of the Lone Star Monarchs, volunteers gathered to sort supplies, fill backpacks, and get them ready for our incoming sixth graders. 📚✏️🎒

We’re so thankful to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and helped put these backpacks together. Your time and effort helped our students start the school year prepared and ready to learn! 💙

Our Back-to-School Supply List Is Cleared! 📚🎒

We are incredibly grateful to the generous donors who came together to help provide school supplies for all 289 sixth graders across our Dallas County schools.

Thanks to the generosity of the Lone Star Monarchs, Sixth Street, TEXO Association, Carlson Capital, and the many individuals who donated, we received tens of thousands of dollars in school supply donations to help make sure our students have what they need to start the school year ready to learn and succeed. ✏️📓

Your generosity is making a real difference for our students, and we are so grateful for the incredible community support behind our young women.

This week, The Young Women's Leadership School of Alief ISD celebrated its very first day of school, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome its inaugural class to the Young Women’s Preparatory Network! 💙💛

These young women are making history as the very first students of TYWLS, and we are so excited to watch them learn, lead, grow, and help shape what this school will become.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where they go! ✨

Thank you, Texas Instruments!

We’re incredibly grateful to the Texas Instruments team for stepping up to help deliver school supplies to Young Women's STEAM Academy at Balch Springs Middle School!

Volunteers from TI picked up, transported, and delivered boxes of school supplies to the school, doing the heavy lifting to make sure these donations reached the students who need them. 📚✏️🎒

Thank you for giving your time and lending a helping hand to support our sixth graders as they prepare for a new school year!

A huge thank you to the Dallas Police Department Community Affairs Office for supporting the Young Women’s Preparatory Network’s School Supply Drive, benefiting sixth-grade students at the Irma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School.

We’re especially grateful to COR Denise Moreno, PO Michael Welsh, PO Jeremy Guillery, SC Holly Harris, and PSO Waldemar Diaz for braving 100+ degree temperatures to pick up, transport, and deliver numerous boxes filled with thousands of brand-new school supplies. 🎒✏️📚
