People are amazed my daughter speaks 3 languages — and it makes me a little uncomfortable. 🌍 She's not gifted. She didn't invent anything. She just grew up somewhere three languages were normal. Across most of the world, trilingual kids are ordinary — nobody blinks. So maybe our amazement isn't about her. Maybe it's about how low we've set the bar for our own kids. And they are SO much more capable than we expect. 👇 Do we sell our kids short on language?

As a mom, I don’t want my daughter to think of Spanish as another thing she has to do. I want it to feel natural — something she looks forward to, something she gets to enjoy, and eventually, something that becomes part of who she is.

That’s why play-based learning matters so much when you’re raising bilingual kids.

The mom teaching her kid 4 languages still lies awake asking if she's doing enough. 💛 If the goalpost keeps moving on you too — read this. What your kid actually needs isn't more enrichment. It's you. Save this for a 1am spiral. Send it to a mom who needs to hear "you're already enough."

You corrected my Spanish… and you were right. 😅 "Mentiditas" isn't technically correct — but in Mexico, everyone knows it (like "mimir" for sleepy-sleep). Here's the thing: I learned Spanish as an adult, I'll always misspell things sometimes… and I also speak 3 languages at C1. The brave imperfect speaker always beats the scared perfect one. 👇 What "wrong" word does YOUR family say anyway?
