Meet Penan and her adorable pets - Mina, Max, Rain, Diamond & Clover.

❤Mina is a ball of fun and love and her favorite thing to do is watch her YouTube shows and sleeping on the couch!

❤Penan and her family rescued Max from a bad situation. Now he is in a loving home and enjoys playing fetch and meowing to Penan for attention.

❤Rain is 2 years old and is she silly one. She came out a Jedi and refuses to be kept inside.

❤Diamond is 3 and comforts her family when feeling anxious or hurt, and loves people food!

❤Clover is Penan's daughter's tortoise who loves hibiscus flowers!

Are you looking for measurement activities to do at home this summer? Check out how our tutor, Cristina, set up real world measuring opportunities for her Pre-4 student in their session last week! Our youngest mathematicians need as many hands-on, real-life examples as possible, and we love how Cristina always incorporates these opportunities for her students.

You don't even need a ruler or measuring tape to practice measurement with elementary students. Print out some paperclips like Cristina did in this activity, or use pennies or something else you have at home as your units and have your child tell you how many units different objects are.
