I had to stop asking myself "Am I good enough to lead?"
That question kept me performing instead of being.
Now I ask: "What space can I create for others to lead themselves?"
This shift changed so much for me.💫
Leadership isn't about proving you're worthy of the position.
It's about creating room for others to step into their own authority.
What question are YOU ready to stop asking?👇🏾

I'm Keegan, an educator on a mission to redefine what it means to be a teacher in today's digital age. My Vision:
I believe in a future where teachers aren't just keeping up with technology – we're leading the charge. We have the power to shape our ca
Educators, our words aren’t neutral—they’re either opening doors or building walls.
Think about your last hard conversation—with a student, a parent, or a colleague.
Did your language make room for possibility and choice? 🚪
Or did it box someone in and shut them down? 🧱
Every sentence teaches a lesson about power. The way you speak IS the way you lead—in your classroom, your staff room, and your home.
What linguistic legacy are you building?
Try this today: name the aim, then offer two good choices. Clarity without control.
Drop a 🚪 if you’re choosing to open doors.
I built a classroom on being needed. Then I realized I'd become the problem.
For years, I thought good teaching meant they couldn’t do it without me.
Every hand in the air? Proof I mattered.
Every “Can you check this?” Validation I was good at this.
Until one moment shifted everything 👇🏾
I realized I wasn’t teaching students to lead themselves.
I was teaching them to lean on me.
There’s a difference between being a guide and being a crutch.
One creates capacity.
The other creates dependency.
One of the more difficult professional shifts I've chosen to make?
Stepping back and asking:
Am I helping them trust themselves, or trust me?
That question changed a lot about how I show up on the scene.
Not just in school. In relationships. In leadership. In life.
In subtle ways, we’re trained to be the hero. And most of our students don’t need rescuing—they need room, clarity without control, and our courage to let them try.
Real talk: 💭
Where in your life are you teaching people to need you instead of lead themselves?
Drop a comment—I'd love to hear where this lands for you. 👇🏾
