WEEK 4 UPDATE:
Due to the beginning of the high school season being moved up one week this year we have come to an unfortunate decision. Most teams will hold tryouts, practices and scrimmages this Saturday, therefore we have come to the conclusion that we will be POSTPONING WEEK 4 of our Ellis County College Showcases. We tried every way possible to move the showcase to Sunday, but our scouts were not able to attend that day due to a previous
commitment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We will extend a credit to those that paid in full for the 4 Weeks of Showcases to our next showcase. We have planned to put together another showcase in May of this year (Date TBD). Please accept our sincerest apologies and we wish everyone a very safe and productive season this year.
We do appreciate everyone who attended our Showcase Series this past month and we hope to see you at our next Showcase scheduled for May!

Since its Inaugural Showcase in December of 2012, DFW Showcases has helped 50+ players take their game past high school.
The DFW Showcases entire staff promises one thing, to bring college and professional scouts to DFW area and give every athlete the best chance possible at getting their name out there. Our goal is to help each and every athlete possible, by puttign them in a position to succeed. We do this by hosting Evaluation Camps, Showcase Tournaments, Summer Collegiate Teams and College Training Courses for ages 14-18.
Last Weekends Showcase was the best one yet! Not only did we have a DBU Coach and Matt Curry in attendance, but we had a Coach who currently Coaches in the Texas Rangers organization come down and evaluate our kids!
If you attended last weeks showcase, the evaluations are complete and will be sent out later this afternoon! Hope to see you there!

College Showcase Series Coming to Ellis County This January 2014 we will be bringing another first to Ellis County. We will be having a different set of college coaches come down to Gear Up Baseball Academy each and every weekend to evaluate and scout some of Ellis Counties finest athletes!

Hey ECCS fans. The next level for our showcases will be in effect NEXT WEEKEND as we travel to the UNIVERSITY of TEXAS at TYLER for our very first showcase tournament! The Ellis County Prospects (Waxahachie) 15u, 16u and 18u teams will play the Cypress Bulls (Houston) 15u, 16u and 18u teams in a Round Robin tournament in front of scouts. More details Coming Soon, but this is a huge step for these kids!
