Gentlemen, get acquainted with dress codes. 👔 Casual is not the same as Business Casual. And when you are unsure about an event's attire, err on the side of dressier.

I'm not sure how often I should share this, but it probably won't be enough. If you can’t see oncoming traffic then you're not doing it right.

Can we talk about Theater Etiquette? 🎟🎭

Theater etiquette is just another setting & venue that we can use our common courtesies.

* Please be in your seat no later than 15 minutes before the curtain goes up. Visit the restroom before the show and stay seated until intermission.
* Dress up a bit! Think a step up from what you would typically wear to the movies. Theater events are usually a special treat, so start with business casual and go up from there.
* No talking, singing, or sleeping during the performance. Keep noise distractions to a minimum. Performers can see and hear the audience. The person seated next to you probably didn't pay good money to hear you sing.
* No flash photography. Some theaters have specific policies and don't allow photos or video recording at all.
* Applaud at appropriate times. You're encouraged to applaud after musical numbers and at the end of the show.
* Give a standing ovation at the end of the performance if the spirit moves you, but you are not obligated to.
* Put your phone on silent. Save the texting, tweeting, and selfies for afterward. Sit back and enjoy the show! 😁

Now I'm not big on cheese straws but pearls do go with anything. 😁
