This sassy girl saved my bed and me from setting on fire at 3am.
I wasn't even sure about getting another cat after I lost my soul cat last year, I'm so glad I did for many reasons.

This is Susan. She managed to wake me up at around 3am (I sleep like the dead) and drew my attention to my charging phone which was stupidly on my bed. When I picked up the phone she was stressing over I realised the whole thing was red hot, screen cracked, and the charger and charging port were smoking pretty bad.

Are my cats teeth ok?
This is James, 9 months, fixed. He has pretty bad fishy breath and I’ve noticed his gums in the front are kinda red and his little bottom teeth are crooked. I’ve brought this up with his vet 2 weeks ago but they said he’s fine. He doesn’t have any issues eating (or just doesn’t show it) but he loves to bite and chew on everything (fingers, pens, toys etc). Is it time for him to see a different vet?

EDIT: thanks everyone, especially uSea_Temperature_3763! I’ll get him to a different vet ASAP and get his whole teeth situation checked out! Is there anything I can do in the meantime to help him?

I work at cvs and randomly in the middle of the day a homeless dude just leaves this kitten obviously dealing with heat exhaustion. He was trying to do the right thing knowing it was way too hot and he couldn't care for it. He asked us to take it in and try to find it a place to go like a shelter. We didn't have any luck and no one else would take him so I have a cat now lol. Honestly it's been unexpected but also great. I've had him for about two weeks now and he is such a sweet cat even tho he loves to bite me.

Was going to shelters looking for a kitten but then ironically the CDS had a mom abandon her kittens in my yard lol!!
The mom was a cat that i'd feed whenever she randomly decided to visit. Then, one day I go outside and see her with kittens in the yard. After a while, she stopped coming and left the kittens behind. Saw her two weeks later somewhere else so I know she's okay. I took these guys inside three days ago after taking about a week to tame them. They were feral at first and fearful but loved food so I used meal time as a way to get closer to them. They also had a cold. Now, they're sweethearts. The Tuxedo is a little skittish but she loves to be pet. The all black kitty sticks to me like Velcro 😂. I love them so much. I'm so relieved that I was able to tame them so I could bring em in. I'd worry about them every night hoping that they'd be okay and i'd see them again the next day. They let me know when they were ready to come in because they literally ran inside lol. I was so happy.

I just find it funny how I was going to shelters looking to adopt a kitten then these guys show up. They seem to be about 6 weeks old or so.

My cat is my entire world, and I don't know what I'd do without him😭♥️
Six years ago, I moved to the States when I was 22, and this little guy came into my life. Back then, we were living in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in a house infested with roaches. I was completely broke, but he was right there with me through it all. He used to go outside to explore, but no matter what, he always came back home to me.
Since then, we have been through so much together. We took a 10-hour road trip to Oklahoma, and he was the absolute best boy in the car the whole way. Later, we flew together all the way to Maryland.
In six years, he has been the one constant in my life. He’s the only one who has never judged me, never been mean to me, and has stayed by my side through every single up and down, no matter how good or bad things got.
I would choose him over and over again. I love him more than anyone or anything in this entire world. Sometimes I catch myself thinking about the day I might lose him, and it completely breaks my heart because I genuinely cannot imagine life without him. I’m actually crying while writing this and he is purring and cuddling with me.
Just wanted to share a little love for the sweetest, most loyal companion I could have ever asked for. Give your fur babies some extra love today.

Please wish Olive a Happy 17th Birthday
My baby turned 17 this weekend! I let her eat as many treats as she wanted for 2 mins. She only has 6 teeth but she made the most of those 2 minutes. She's in fantastic health (despite an occasional UTI) and just got a purrfect-score at her 6-month Senior Checkup.

What should I do?
I have this cat in my neighbourhood and he is the cutest and most social cat I have ever seen. He comes around occasionally just to get some pats and play on the patio. We would always know he is there because he sits in front of the window and meows until we come out to pet him.

The way he likes to get petted is somehow weird, he will lay down like in the picture and start rolling around in circles. If you stop scratching his belly or bum, he will immediately start meowing as if you did not feed him for ages.

You are also not allowed to look anywhere else.

And he does not get enough. Like ever. I sat outside with him for hours and he would still be mad when I stop. When I go back inside, he also starts meowing immediately.

Sometimes, he comes inside with me. He will then continue to demand scratches on the carpet or lay down at the window. He also does lay down on the couch or on my belly. But he does not stay in the same spot for more than 5 minutes.

Recently this has gotten out of hand. He will sit outside for hours and meow at the window. He tries this from every angle around the house. At first we thought because he can hear our voices, but our neighbours told us that he was doing this for 5 hours when we were gone the whole day. And he does come by every day now.

This night he sat outside the whole night. We could hear him, just like the whole neighbourhood.

But we can not let him inside. First of all we do not have any equipment at home that a cat needs. Second, he will be up all night and demand scratches. We had to do this once because of a thunderstorm. He slept for 4 hours and then got back to his shenanigans.

I really do not understand why he is so obsessed with us. We literally never fed him. Not even a small piece of meat or anything. And we know where his normal home is. Four houses down the street. He does even go there to eat and comes back right afterwards.

What should I do?

TLDR;

A cat in my neighbourhood comes by every day and will not leave. We did not feed him and the whole neighbourhood can hear him demanding scratches and pets

Edit: His owners live 4 houses apart from ours. They feed him regularly
