The official Parent Teacher Association for John S. Armstrong Elementary School. Mrs.

Armstrong School, the first school in the Highland Park Independent School District, opened its doors in October 1914 after the incorporation of the Town of Highland Park in 1913. John Scarbrough Armstrong (Alice) donated the land upon which the school was built in memory of her late husband, the purchaser and developer of the area that became Highland Park.

The Armstrong Thanksgiving Food Drive is November 2nd-4th๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ!

Please fill a brown paper grocery bag with each of the items om the flyer and have your child bring it to the Armstrong Auditorium on November 2nd-4th. in Snider Plaza has pre-made bags in front of the store at checkout making it SUPER EASY! Brother Bill's counts on Armstrong's involvement each year for food donations! Thank you for helping us teach our students about serving others in our community!!!๐Ÿงก๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

The HP Culture Fest is at Highland Park High School on November 5, 2022 from 12-3 p.m.

The whole family is invited to enjoy cultural performances, visual displays, food, and arts and crafts from 20+ countries around the world. Armstrong families will be helping with exhibits featuring Brazil, China, Italy, Korea, Mexico and Pakistan! ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ The event is free and open to the community!
