Hi, CLP!

We have received our CLP yearbook order! All yearbooks have been sorted and labeled. We will sign yearbooks at specials on Friday, May 8th. Then, after that, yearbooks will go home.

We do have extra yearbooks for sale. The extra yearbooks are first come, first serve. They are $40 a piece. You can buy a yearbook from Coach Green during specials this week! You can bring cash or a check made out to CLP PTA.

Be sure to grab your yearbook in time for yearbook signing!

We are beyond proud of Evelyn C. and Landon B. Both of these learners worked hard this weekend at their lemonade stand! They might be young, but they’re entrepreneurs in the making! Landon even won best lemonade with his raspberry lemonade! It was a hit.

Our 🌸🌺🌼 Spring Showcase 🌼🌺🌸 on Thursday night was fabulous! We had beautiful art on display from each learner, a wonderful Honor Choir performance, our learner’s work on display throughout the building and community organizations to showcase how they can support our CLP families! It was a great night! Thank you to Ms. Hartsell, Mr, McClendon, our CLP Educators, all our volunteers, CLP PTA and our community partners! We could have not done this without all your help! 💙💛💙

Thank you to Ari M. and Eva M., two 5th graders, in Ms. Richards’ SAGE class! These two ladies, along with the guidance of Ms.Richards, formulated their Type 3 project, to honor our cafeteria ladies on National Lunch Hero Day! Ari and Eva felt that Ms. Cervantes, our CLP Cafeteria Manager and her team, did not always get the appreciation that they deserve. So you know what they did, they solved it! They brought our school together to make appreciation signs and inspired everyone to wear Superhero shirts to honor our Superhero Lunch Heroes, Ms. Cervantes and her team! We are proud of Ari and Eva! Thank you both for leading so well! 💛💙💛

Tonight we celebrated Ms. Schoeck at the Rockwall ISD Teacher of the Year Banquet! We are proud of Ms.Schoeck! She works each day to build strong relationships and strives for excellence in all her learners! Thank You, Ms. Schoeck! We love you! 💙💛💙

It was a joy to have Dr. Bradford in the CLP House today! She talked to our 5th graders about expectations and all the great things they will do at Williams Middle School next year! Dr. Bradford brought the energy and our 5th graders are so excited about becoming a Wildcat! I am so grateful for the partnerships we have in Rockwall ISD. It brings me great happiness to know my Cowboys are in such great hands! Dr. Bradford is invested in our learners and a difference maker! 💙💛💙

Tomorrow is National Lunch Hero Day! Let’s celebrate Ms. Cervantes and her team! We are so grateful for all the warm breakfast and lunches that they serve us each day! Let’s wear our best Super Hero Shirts to show Ms. Cervantes and her team how special they are to us! 💙💛💙

We are so excited to have our open house tonight, Spring Showcase from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Our classrooms will be open to showcase learner’s work from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Be sure to check out all the amazing work learners have completed this year!

We will have a school-wide Art Show in our CLP Gym from 5:00-6:30 p.m. We will showcase our Rockwall ISD Art Show Winners and Art for all of learners that has been completed this year!

Our CLP Honor Choir will perform at 5:30 p.m. in Cafe A.

We will also have several organizations in our main hallway. These organizations will present summer activity programs that our learners can participate in. Some programs are completely free and can keep your child engaged throughout the summer!

We are excited to share our progress from this year with each of you! We love when our entire CLP family comes together.

We loved celebrating Ms. Shing and Ms. Woolly this week for Administrative Assistant Day! These two ladies are the true heroes of CLP! We know who is in charge, for sure! We are grateful for their leadership and helping our school run smoothly each and every day! If you missed it this week, there is still time!
