At this year's Celebration of Service, we had the honor of recognizing our retirees and the dedicated staff members who have given 20+ years of service to Prosper ISD. Thank you for everything you have poured into this district and the countless students and fellow staff members whose lives are better because of you.
We may have told each teacher to do something a little different… and they had no idea. 😬 Turns out our teachers are just as fun as they are inspiring, and we would not have it any other way. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the educators who make Prosper ISD the best place to be. Thank you for everything — including being great sports. 🍎✨
Watching our students surprise their teachers this week with heartfelt signs reminded us why Teacher Appreciation Week exists in the first place — because the impact these educators have made is worth special moments of recognition. Thank you, Prosper ISD teachers! You mean more than you know.

Congratulations to Richland and Walnut Grove High Schools’ girls basketball teams on an incredible season. 🏀 Richland (35-5, undefeated in district, 30-game win streak) and Walnut Grove (District Champions, program first playoff win) both advanced to the UIL State Semifinals. We are proud of the way these teams represented our district with their dedication and hard work.
We asked students across Prosper ISD to describe their teacher in one word – and their answers say it all. ❤️💫 Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to every educator who has left a mark on a student that they will never forget. Thank you for being exactly who our kids need you to be.

All four Prosper ISD high schools were represented at last month’s board meeting as we recognized our Class of 2026 Valedictorians and Salutatorians. 🎓 These eight students represent what it means to work hard and finish the school year strong, and we could not be more proud of everything they have accomplished. Congratulations to each of them as they prepare to close one incredible chapter and step into the next.
