NTFB supports the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through research, education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.

Youth Against Hunger is an affinity group of the North Texas Food Bank aimed at providing opportunities for teens to educate peers on the issue of hunger in their own community while creating structured programming to take action. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a nonprofit social benefit organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network 300 Member Agencies

General information

Any teen in North Texas is welcome! Active members should attend organized functions, volunteer, and like the YAH page.

Youth will be selected to participate in an Advocacy Board role. They will facilitate group meetings, vote on key organizational decisions, and create a calendar of events to engage members.

One NTFB staff member from the Volunteer Experience Team will provide structure and serve as an advisor to the group, while also connecting them with the NTFB mission and keeping them apprised of current events and campaigns.
