Continuing with our graduating seniors, Alexis Farino graduates with a Bachelor's of Arts in Politics Philosophy, and Economics with two minors in Legal Studies and Philosophy from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Alexis has worked in the writing center for about four years dating back to her freshman year. As she parts ways with the UWC, we are sad to see her go but excited to know that her next journey looks amazing. She plans to join the United States Army and work toward being a Judge Advocate General.

As the semester winds down, we congratulate our two spring graduates from within the UWC. First up is Lane Atwood, who graduates with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and two minors in History and English from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Lane has worked in the UWC for one year. He will be dearly missed as he leaves DBU and moves on to his career. Lane plans to use his degree to work in the government and make a difference there.

He is Risen! "He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you." (Matthew 28:6-7 ESV).
Let us not forget about the power of our God and that he is alive indeed.

As we gather today to remember the sacrifice and blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross for us, remember that he died for our sins and paid the price, so we can have everlasting life with him.
(John 19:30 "When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ‘It is finished,’ and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." ESV)
