Tonight was a very special night celebrating Aaron with a wonderful Italian dinner at Andiamo's in Santa Fe. Aaron has completed the MTA Multisensory Teaching Approach Curriculum for the remediation of dyslexia. He achieved 90% mastery throughout the entire course. We began work in September of 2018 and he has logged one hour classes with me 3 to 4 times a week untill last week when we finished. (Grade 1 through half of grade 5) . I am so incredibly proud of him. He is a fabulous reader now and reads with great intonation, expression, and prosody. AND he enjoys reading! He has been reading above grade level for about a year. Congratulations to my last and most precious student, Aaron Sullivan!

Someone wrote this on a page recently: The non-CALT people I have observed seem to be more trained at the technician level. They must go through the program they are using in order and not skip any steps. Very frustrating! My response was "Fidelity!" She replied: The problem is that they are unable to adapt to the needs of the child.
Those that I have trained (or others) what say you???
