Who knew a few balloons could create so much fun? 💕🎈

At Sunshine Pediatric Day Center, we're always finding new ways to keep our kiddos engaged, creative, and having fun! From making balloon animals and silly balloon hats to exploring colors, shapes, and textures, our activities are all about creating moments of joy and discovery. 🌈✨

Every child in our four walls has someone whose entire job is dedicated to their growth and play.. not just their medical care.

At Sunshine Fort Worth, that's Phoenicia, our activities coordinator. She's building curriculum around letters, shapes, and numbers, getting kids ready for school, and making sure there's a reason to laugh and play built into every single day. Because stimulation and development matter just as much as any therapy on the schedule.

Caroline joined our PPECC family in Dallas on September 8, 2025, with a big smile. She required skilled care to eat through a g-tube. In just three short months, Caroline made incredible progress—so much so that she began eating solid foods on her own! Reaching this exciting milestone made it possible for Caroline to transition from PPECC to a typical daycare setting.

Thanks to her hard work, the support of her family, and the dedicated care of our clinical team, Caroline is ready for her next adventure. Her parents are thrilled to see her move into an environment with peers at her developmental level and are so proud of how quickly she blossomed during her time with us.

We are honored to have been part of Caroline’s journey and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for her!

At Sunshine, kiddos with complex medical needs get access to skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, all under one roof. No driving from appointment to appointment, no specialists who never talk to each other. Just one team, working together, for one child.

Deamayon (DJ) was a brave 23-week infant who became part of the Sunshine family just six months after his arrival. We’ve had the joy of watching DJ grow, reach milestones, and even take his very first steps. And recently, he earned his cap and gown.
