📢 Attention Melissa High School Parents!

Our 2nd IB Enrollment Meeting: Monday, October 28, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the IB Center (former library). 📚 This meeting is specifically for students in GT Seminar class- last names F-N, but anyone can attend. Other meetings are Nov 11 (Last names O-Z) and Dec 9 (anyone else and those who missed their appropriate meeting date)

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the IB Diploma Programme, meet the team, and get all your questions answered! Your involvement is key to supporting our students as they embark on this journey!

In the fall of 2025, current freshmen will have the opportunity to begin the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This challenging and comprehensive program places an emphasis on critical thinking, research skills, and international-mindedness.

IB emphasizes ten essential learner profiles, fostering traits such as inquisitiveness, open-mindedness, and principled behavior. Students will develop qualities like communication skills, critical thinking, and a commitment to global citizenship, preparing them for a dynamic and interconnected world. The program strives to nurture well-rounded individuals who not only excel academically but also embody the values necessary for lifelong success.
