Yesterday was TOUGH. Explosion after explosion that came down to him not wanting me to rub his hindquarters with the stick/string… so he would donkey kick and take off bucking… OVER A STRING that weights less than a penny! (AND something we’ve done to death before!)
Fast forward 50m and he finally “tolerated” the string with an RBF bc he literally couldn’t run anymore…
I put him up considering plan b,c,d and f! Today we repeated the whole process… no buck or kick! (Still the RBF but progress is progress!)
So as of today he’s still NOT headed to the meat truck (j/k nobody FREAK!)
I was so frustrated yesterday thinking we had lost ALL the progress we had made so far with the whole TRUST thing… but not all was lost!
I wish he could tell me what happened to him in the past… instead I get to keep putting the puzzle together with a blindfold… but I think one more piece found its place today
